Daff's Live! Packs are a colourful suite of modular resource packs, centred around adding bugs, worms and other critters to every part of your game.

Pick your packs:

Daff's Live! Ores (Mining/Redstone)

This changes the textures of every mineral in the Minecraft overworld, as well as stone and deepslate.

Smeltable ores have become invertebrates encased in amber, and ores that don't smelt are now a variety of bugs poking through the rocks.
Designs are inspired mostly by the fossil record on Earth, and a strong desire to replace redstone dust with worms.

Currently contains:
• Every raw and smelted mineral, and charcoal, in item form - netherite ingots excepted
• All mineral blocks except amethyst, copper, netherite, and quartz
• Raw iron and gold blocks
• All iterations of regular stone blocks, and all ore blocks within regular stone
• All iterations of deepslate blocks save for reinforced deepslate, and all ore blocks within deepslate
• All iterations of end stone, and end portal blocks
• Redstone torches and dust
• Custom splashes

Daff's Giftwrapped (GUI)

Provides native resolution user interface textures in Minecraft, with a higher resolution handwritten font, and a static 1080p main menu background.

Designs complement Daff's Live! Ores, and occasionally feature extra worms!

Currently contains:
• 64x equivalent resolution font, in printed handwriting style
• Backgrounds for title and options screens
• Redesigned Heads Up Display, including freeze damage icons
• Boss bars
• Stylised rainbow game title
• A more colourful creative inventory
• The same custom splashes available in Daff's Live! Ores

Daff's Craft Box (Decorations)

Contains building and decorative materials that aren't in Daff's Live! Ores.
All building textures in this module are made to work seamlessly alongside vanilla colour palettes, with minimal tweaks.

Currently contains:
• Warped and Crimson doors
• 16 custom paintings

Daff's Extras (Misc.)

Holds any texture that didn't warrant its own pack.

Currently contains:
• A cookie that winks at you
• Books that appear to be briefcases
• A rainbow vegetation colour map
• Custom design, always-opaque oak leaves

The Daffle Bag is the all-in-one combo pack that contains all of the above, and potentially older versions of textures.
If you want to do your own mixing and matching, or want everything here, this is the pack for you.

These packs are on indefinite hiatus.

It is unlikely that I will add new content to them, but I will respond to requests for compatibility fixes. I can also negotiate the possibility of adding new textures to established sets, upon receiving a tip.

Further notes on compatibility:

- While these packs target Java Edition 1.17.x, they have been tested to support Java Edition versions 1.13-1.19.2.^{a b}
The main modification required to use them for these versions is to open pack.mcmeta in a text editor and change the version number from 7 to the appropriate pack version number, which you can find here.
If you don't change this the pack(s) should still work, but will warn you of incompatibility - even though there is none.

^a- For Daff's Craft Box (and by extension The Daffle Bag), paintings will not load in prior to 1.14. Upon downloading these packs you are welcome to paste the paintings onto a personal copy of paintings-kristoffer-zetterstrand.png, for your personal private use only.

^b- For Daff's Giftwrapped (and by extension The Daffle Bag), Samuel Åberg's name will look a little funny, as will most non-English text that makes use of Latin characters! For English players this most notably affects 1.19.x onward.
I am working on fixing this, though extended font support is a large task and I wish to upload it all in one go.
I have a significant number of unused font extras that are not pack ready. If someone asks for a specific set of characters, and I already have them, I will prepare and upload them.
